Synopsis

The sleepy Somerset village of Roseford is the temporary home for the cast and crew of the latest Christmas movie, and there’s an excitement in the air that can’t be ignored. When Lucy Cameron, the owner of Roseford Café, is asked to fulfil a last-minute catering order on set, she can’t believe her luck.
Lucy’s erstwhile teenage crush, Finn Sanderson, is the star of the film, alongside his glamorous co-star, Montana de Santo, with whom he has been linked on and off the screen, and their sprinkle of stardust around the village is intoxicating.
With Christmas approaching and the snow starting to fall, Lucy’s path keeps crossing with Finn’s, and she starts to get to know the man behind the movie star. As her feelings grow, so too do Lucy’s reservations about even considering becoming involved with someone so well-known. My Review of Winter Kisses at Roseford Cafe
If you are looking for that perfect Christmas read, Winter Kisses at Roseford Cafe has to be on your reading list this festive season. The story focuses on the main character, Lucy, who is the owner of Roseford Cafe in the sleepy and picturesque village of Roseford – that is until a film crew arrives at Roseford Hall to make a Christmas movie for Filmflix.
Lucy is particularly excited about the film crew’s arrival, as the lead role in the Christmas movie is being played by none other than her teenage crush – Finn Sanderson. When she was younger, Lucy idolised Finn and daydreamed about him all the time! So when she bumps Finn in the village, she becomes a bumbling and embarrassing mess, who can hardly string a sentence together. But after a little more time spent with Finn, Lucy gets to know more about him as a person and not the ‘film star’ and she discovers he really is down-to-earth, super lovely, and seriously gorgeous.
Finn invites Lucy on a date, and that is where the chemistry between the two of them becomes inevitable. Could Lucy really be in a relationship with someone in the public eye, or are things with Finn destined never to be any more than just her teenage daydreams?
Winter Kisses at Roseford Cafe is such a beautiful romantic story, set in the most picture-perfect festive location, with fantastic characters. A must-add addition to your festive reading list for sure.
