My Review of The Dating Game
The Dating Game is the second book by author Susan Buchanan. We are introduced to the main character Gill and we soon discover that Gill is a workaholic, owning her own recruitment company, Gill spends many hours of her life devoted to her company, leaving very little time in her life for relationships or even dating. That is until, one day on her way to work, Gill spots an ad for a dating agency, and on a whim, she signs herself up.
Soon Gill and her best friends are vetting the profiles she receives from the dating agency, and before long Gill is arranging dates with several different guys. As the story continues, we get to follow Gill’s dating journey with Liam, Sean, Charlie, and Anton, as well as updating her friends – Lisa, Angela, and Debbie – about her latest dating exploits.
Gill is enjoying dating and spending time with each of the different men, who all have such different qualities, but one man really has got Gill’s heart. But does he feel the same, and why is it Gill just hasn’t heard from him?
The Dating Game really is such a lovely, fun, and entertaining read, and for those of us who are over 40 and single, shows that you can find love at any age. An absolute must-read – you will not be dissapointed.
