How to Destress, Anna Barnes*
I love the ‘How to’ series of books by Anna Barnes, and already have the How to be Calm and How to be Confident books, which I really love. Stress is something that at some point in our lives, we all will have to deal with stress – that might be on a daily basis or with a major life event – the way we handle and manage stress will be different, as we all have different levels of coping.
This book provides easy-to-follow tips and tricks on the tools you need to help understand what stress is and the way in which you choose to respond to what is stressing you. Tips on staying calm under pressure and how to manage your emotions with journaling, as well as positive quotes make this the perfect book for dipping in and out of when you experience stress in your life.
How to Fall in Love with Yourself, Anna Barnes*
For me, this book is an absolute must-have for anyone going into 2022 who struggles with self-love and self-confidence, as I do. Learning to love yourself, the person you are, and the body you are in can be a really hard thing to do, but this book/journal provides thought-provoking questions to get you thinking about why it is you struggle with loving yourself and to help you recognise your triggers and to celebrate being the amazing and incredible person you are.
Beautifully illustrated throughout with incredible motivating and uplifting quotes, this book, and journal combined is a staple for your must-read pile this January, ensuring you end 2022 loving the person you are, feeling confident and happy.
