Have you ever used affirmations for boosting your confidence?
I don’t know about you but the last 18 months have left me feeling all out of sorts. Every day there seems to be yet more and more bad news about the state of the world we live in – with Covid being such a huge part of all our lives and affecting everything we do (and those things we are not allowed to do.) With all the time we have spent at home during lockdown after lockdown, I have been feeling less and less confident in myself and worrying more about being in social settings again.

I have been a fan of journaling for a while now in order to help manage my emotions and my mental health. I really enjoy the process of getting everything out of my mind onto paper. Journaling has really helped me manage how I am feeling on a daily basis. However, the one thing I am not very good at is believing in myself and my own skills and abilities, So, when the team at Mal Paper got in touch and asked if they could send me their Affirmation Cards*, I jumped at the opportunity to add some more positivity into my everyday routine.
Affirmation Cards
The Affirmation Cards from Mal Paper are designed to be used every day for daily affirmation practice. The cards come beautifully presented in a monochrome box and each of the cards is designed in a very simple way, again featuring the classic monochrome look. The deck contains 52 cards all with positive, optimistic, and thought-provoking affirmations. So, how do you actually include affirmation practice into your everyday routine?

There are many ways in which you can use the Affirmation Cards as part of your daily routine. If, like me, you journal on a daily basis, use the affirmation Cards as prompts for a more guided journaling session. Pick a card and see how you feel about the affirmation on the card. Does it resonate with you? Use these feelings as a guide for your journaling.
Other ways in which you can use the Affirmation Cards include:
- Select a card at random and ask yourself how the message on the card can help you today.
- Use your mood to guide the card you pick and use the message to help you feel positive again.
- Use the Affirmation Cards when meditating or working with crystals for healing.
- Connect to the words on the Affirmation Cards and use them as your mantra for the day.
I am really enjoying using the Affirmation Cards on a daily basis – I have found them to be so good in helping to boost my general mood for the day ahead and also providing a much needed boost of positivity, motivation and confidence – which I have really been struggling with recently.
