My Review
I absolutely loved this book! The story is so relatable to so many of us and it almost feels like you are reading the diary of a friend. The story follows the daily ups and downs of Annie, Matt and their 2 children. With Matt out at work all day, Annie is left at home looking after their 2 young children. With the everyday tasks of a family life, Annie and Matt are finding less and less time to spend with each other.
Spending less time with each other and less time talking and listening to each other, their relationship spirals into a series of arguments and resenting each other. After realising they are taking each other for granted, Annie and Matt decide to try counselling in the hope of recapturing the reasons they fell in love with each other. Can they both learn to listen to each other again and work as a family team again?
The Diary of a Nagging Wife is such relatable story to so many of us. Packed full of wit, humour and ultimately love. I can not recommend this book highly enough – a total must read!
