Things I am adding to my October Goals

Welcome to my October goals. Autumn is well and truly here, and as I am writing this post, it is throwing it down with rain and super cold! I know you’re all going to hate me, but I really don’t like this time of year (sorry!) How on earth are we only 2 months away from CHRISTMAS and almost the end of 2020? I think I am not the only one in feeling like 2020 has been one crazy year. Hopefully we can now enjoy the last few months of 2020 and roll on 2021! Hope you are all safe and well and been doing ok?

Blogging

September really has been a bit of a hit and miss month for me. I have been really busy and have really struggled to find the time to sit down and write any posts. Hopefully, things will be a lot easier in October and I can start getting back to my normal posting schedule again.

Maintain a regular posting schedule

September again has been a bit of a hit and miss month for me in terms of posting content. I have lots of exciting things going on, which has kept me super busy. I am planning on posting 3 times a week throughout October, as I have so many fantastic ideas of content I want to share with you all. Sunday and Wednesday will still be my posting days throughout October, with the third post on a Friday or Saturday.

Work on my Social Media platforms

Throughout September I have been a lot more active on my social media channels. I still really want to and need to spending time working on each of my platforms and engaging with all my followers. I love sharing fun and positive things across all my social media. Hopefully, you will see me more on social media, especially Instagram. I have always struggled a bit with talking on Insta Stories, but I know it’s such a great way for my followers to get to know me. So, you may get to see my ugly mug on my Stories soon!

Personal

I have been feeling a lot more positive about things throughout the last few months. Lockdown for me, like most of us, has been so hard and more challenging than I thought it would be. I have some very exciting things happening in my life at the moment, which hopefully I will be able to share with you all soon. As tough as 2020 has been, and continues to be, I am feeling more optimistic, motivated and happy than I have for a really long time.

Look after my mental and physical health

As much as self-care has become more of a priority for me in general, I would say I haven’t really made time for myself properly through September. I have neglected things quite a lot in September, but I need to put steps into place to focus on myself on myself in terms of both my mental health and my physical health. Maintaining an exercise schedule is also really important for me. My Aspire Channel Swim starts in a few days. I really need to be getting to the pool 3 times a week in order to complete the challenge on time. If you are able to, please support me in my challenge of swimming 22 miles in 12 weeks.

Maintain a more relaxed morning routine

I have still been trying to work on my morning routine throughout September. It has been harder this month as I have had a few nights with really poor sleep. I am due to return to work within the next week, so it will be harder to continue with everyday, however I am going to try hard to carve out a bit of extra time for a more relaxed morning routine for myself. It really is allowing me to take a bit more time in the morning to prepare for the day ahead and helps me feel more productive and motivated.

Write in my Journal

I have been very bad at writing in my journal throughout September. Bad habits of thinking I didn’t have enough time have slipped in. I want to make sure that I use my Positive Planner journal, which is a guided journal dedicated to self-care, positivity and gratitude every day. Using my  Mal Paper Daily Goal Setter every morning to create my daily To Do list has really helped me to get as organised as possible – I love ticking things off at the end of the day!

Have you set yourself any goals for October or any goals/resolutions for the rest of 2020? Leave me a comment and let me know what you want to achieve in the last few months of this year.
