Their chemistry’s as strong as ever, but she’s hiding a secret. Can James convince Chloe that their love is worth taking a chance on – again?

Katie Fforde wrote, when honouring her with the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Outstanding Achievement Award in 2019 said – “Liz Fielding’s books, with their warmth, humour and emotion, have charmed millions of readers. She is a true star of the romantic fiction genre.”

My Review

It has been 10 years since James and Chloe last saw each other. The two of them so in love as teenagers and then torn apart by family and tradition. James never stopped looking for Chloe and knew that one day he would find his true love again. What he didn’t expect when he checked into a hotel in France, was to find Chloe working as a Housekeeper and cleaning his hotel room. Now living in France, things have desperately changed for Chloe. In a bid for James not to know the horrendous life she had been living, she flees.

Now a celebrity Chef with a Michelin starred restaurant, James is not willing to lose Chloe again, and tracks her down to where she is living. Horrified with the conditions she is living in, Chloe explains to James what really happened after her parents separated them all those years ago. The story is not a happy one, and James feels awful for what Chloe has had to deal with over the years. Despite everything that has happened, the passion, chemistry and love between them is still obvious. Spending time together and exploring the beautiful city of Paris, James is more convinced that he will not let Chloe go again. But after everything that has happened, does Chloe feel the same?

Christmas Reunion in Paris really does tug on the heartstrings. With so much love, emotion, passion and chemistry, and set in the beautiful city of Paris, it really is the perfect festive read.
