Welcome to my September goals. Autumn is almost here! Cosy jumpers, candles and Pumpkin Spice Latte season is just days away. How on earth has August gone so quickly? I think I am not the only one in feeling like 2020 has been one crazy year. Summer 2020 was pretty much written off in the pandemic. Hopefully we can now enjoy the last few months of 2020 and roll on 2021! Hope you are all safe and well and been doing ok?

Blogging
July has been a bit of a hit and miss month for me. I have really been struggling with motivation. Every time I sit down at my laptop to write a post, I seem to go blank and just can’t get the words out! I have loads of great ideas for posts, which I cant to share with you all. Here’s to a more productive August!
Maintain a regular posting schedule
August again has been a bit of a hit and miss month for me in terms of posting content. However, I have been really busy though. Lots of blog maintenance jobs that usually get pushed to the bottom of my To Do list. To help improve my DA, I have been working on my SEO and other tasks. I still have lots of amazing ideas for content I want to share with you all. I may push myself a little throughout September to post 3 times a week. Sunday and Wednesday have always been my upload days and that seems to work really well for me, with the third post on a Friday hopefully.
Work on my Social Media Platforms
Throughout August I have been a lot more active on my social media channels. I still really want to and need to spending time working on each of my platforms and engaging with all my followers. I love sharing fun and positive things across all my social media. Hopefully, you will see me more on social media, especially Instagram. I have always struggled a bit with talking on Insta Stories, but I know it’s such a great way for my followers to get to know me. So, you may get to see my ugly mug on my Stories soon!
Personal
I have been feeling a lot more positive about things throughout July. Lockdown for me, like most of us, has been so hard and more challenging than I thought it would be. It’s been amazing to finally get back to the gym and to see friends again. I haven’t yet ventured into town, but that’s only really because I am trying to save money and there really is nothing I need right now.
Look After Myself Properly
As much as self-care has become more of a priority for me, I would say I haven’t really made time for myself properly through August. I really had got into meditation, mindfulness and visualisation, which really has helped me. I have neglected things quite a lot in August, but I need to put steps into place to focus on myself in September. Maintaining an exercise schedule is also rally important for me and I have just signed up to take part in the Aspire Channel Swim for 2020. If you are able to, please support me in my challenge of swimming 22 miles in 12 weeks.
Maintain my relaxed morning routine
I have still been trying to work on my morning routine throughout August. It has been harder this month as I have had a few nights with really poor sleep. I am due to return to work within the next few weeks, so it will be harder to continue with everyday. I’m going to try hard to create a more relaxed morning routine for myself. It’s allowing me to take a bit more time in the morning to prepare for the day ahead and helps me feel more productive and motivated.
Write in my Journal
Having more time in the morning has allowed me to spend time writing in my journal. I have been using my Positive Planner journal, which is a guided journal dedicated to self-car, positivity and gratitude. I have also been using my Mal Paper Daily Goal Setter to create my daily To Do list and try and get as organised as possible.
Have you set yourself any goals for September or any goals/resolutions for 2020? Leave me a comment and let me know what you want to achieve this year.
