Life Update: We are all in this together

I think I am not the only one who is struggling to find the words to make sense of the current pandemic we are all in? In the world we live in that is ever changing, fast-paced and oh so busy, in what feels like the blink of an eye, we find ourselves in an all-together different world and a completely different way of life. Did any of us think that in just a few short days all our lives would be so incredibly different?

Corona Virus has changed the way we all live our lives. It has made us find a new ‘normal’. It has made us slow down and spend time at home. The pandemic has made us have more fear and anxiety about the everyday small things in life. We are all worried about the bigger things as well. Jobs, homes, money, being able to afford to eat and the health of not just ourselves but that of our loved ones as well.

Social distancing has now become a very real thing for ALL OF US and I emphasise all of us, because we ALL have our part to play. By staying at home and following the advice from the Government and the medical experts about social distancing, we can all help to combat this pandemic. Shops, cinemas, theatres, pubs, restaurants and gyms now closed. A lot of people are working from home. Many people, including myself, are starting to feel very anxious about the whole situation.

What we all need to remember is that we are all in this together. Everyone in the whole of the UK and across the whole world is facing this very scary and worrying situation. So please, remember, you are not alone in feeling nervous, anxious, stressed or worried about what the next few days. Normal life for us all has done a complete 360 the last few days and for many of us. Finding a new ‘routine’ will take time and will leave us feeling very unsettled and nervous.

My aim is to continue to post on the blog and bring you some new content. My hope is that it will help you to take five minutes out from the current situation. Thank you to you all for your continued support, stay safe and we will get through this together.
