My Favourite Bedroom Trends and Inspiration

For me, having a beautiful, restful and calming bedroom space is so important. Our lives are so busy and we all have very different work patterns, but the one thing we all have in common is the need for a good nights sleep. I am quite a minimalistic person and I would love my dream bedroom to have a light, airy and minimalistic feel, with lots of neutral, plain and calming colours. In today’s post, I wanted to share some of my dream bedroom inspiration and trends with you.

One – The Bed

I have always dreamed of having an incredible bed in my bedroom and for it to take centre stage in the room. I mean, we all need a good night’s sleep and I feel having an amazing and comfortable bed is crucial to ensuring you have good quality sleep. This Edwin Super King bed from Made.com is beautiful. The Marl grey colour is very neutral and the style of the bed is very minimalistic, but also has a retro charm feel to the design.

Two – The Bedding

This beautiful white and pink hotel inspired bedding is the bedding of dreams for me! Having an incredibly comfortable bed is crucial to getting a good night’s sleep. Having bedding that is comfortable is also as important. This 400 thread count cotton bedding in white would look stunning and oh so inviting. Finished with an elegant pink edging to add just a touch of colour.

Three – The Bedside Table

This white bedside table from Made.com is part of the Elona collection. I love its simplicity and clean simple lines. Bedside tables, for me, are an absolute essential in my bedroom. I love that this one has two drawers – perfect for storing bits and bobs, like my journal and the book that I am currently reading. The chrome hair-pin legs add that really modern feel, keeping the whole overall look clean and simple again.

Four – The Chest of Drawers

In keeping with the clean and simple feel to the bedroom, I have gone for the matching Elona chest of drawers, again from Made.com. The style and design of this chest of drawers would fit in perfectly. They would not make the room look too cluttered, but would allow for plenty of storage space. With 4 spacious and roomy drawers, allowing you to store everything away neat and tidy. Again, featuring the chrome hair-pin legs, which I absolutely love.
