My Review
I have loved reading the whole Singles series by Elaine Spires and The Single Best Thing is the very last book in the collection. We join Eve, Melv and the rest of the characters once Eve has left Travel Together and her time as a tour rep is over.
This book is more focused on Eve, her life and her family. Throughout the story, there are very tender and emotional moments but also some very funny moments as well. I found myself laughing along with the characters, but also feeling some of the pain and heartache as well.
Not wanting to give any spoilers, but I was very pleased that the lsat book in the series had the ending that it does – all the questions were answered and everything was all wrapped up perfectly. I have loved the writing style of Elaine Spires throughout each of the books in the series and feel really quite sad that we won’t get to hear about the trials and tribulations of Eve again. If like me, you have read the Singles series and loved following all the characters, then The Single Best Thing is an absolute must for you.
