Beauty at the Barn is a beautiful salon located in the stunningly picturesque village of Puckrup in Tewkesbury. Run by the lovely Teresa, Beauty at the Barn offers a whole range of treatments. Treatments include CACI facials, Indian Head Massage, Hopi Ear Candles, Detox Body Wraps and Monu Collagen Facials.
The super lovely Teresa very kindly invited me to experience the *CACI Ultimate Facial. A facial, for me, is so relaxing and I love having them. However, I have never experienced a facial using any electical micro-currents before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect.
The treatment space at Beauty at the Barn is beautiful – relaxing, calming and inviting and one of the most comfortable treatment beds I have ever experienced – I definitely think I fell asleep a few times throughout my treatment!
After completing a consultation, Teresa explained everything involved with the CACI Ultimate Facial and what each stage of the facial would involve. CACI facials combine micro current facial toning with skin exfoliation technology to combat ageing in the skin. Leaving beautiful glowing skin . . . without surgery.
The Treatment
After cleansing and toning my skin, the first part of the CACI Facial was microdermabrasion. Microdermabrasion helps to exfoliate and stimulate the skin to give a clearer and brighter complexion. The next stage of the facial was the actual micro-current impulses. I was a little nervous about this as I wasn’t sure what to expect. Teresa had described it to me to be like ‘pins and needles’ on your face. I have to say I found this part of the facial one of the most relaxing things ever.
The Results
A refreshing and intensely hydrating mask was applied to my skin, along with an intense moisturiser. My skin felt soft, smooth and supple and left looking fresh, glowing, with a plumper and more smooth appearance overall. I was incredibly surprised (and pleased) to feel how much firmer and more lifted my skin looked and felt and that these results lasted for over 3 days.
Undergoing a course of 5-10 CACI Facials to achieve and see these amazing results for a longer period of time. If you are concerned about the appearance of your skin, from wrinkles to fine lines, I can completely recommend the CACI Facials to see instant results without having to consider surgery.
