It is almost New Year’s Eve and this year I think it’s more exciting than ever as we are about to head into a brand new year and a brand new decade! If you are heading out to a party or celebrating at home, I have some amazing drink ideas to help celebrate the New Year. You won’t want to miss these!
Il Gusto have released the perfect Christmas and New Year’s gin’s and liquors. Oh my goodness they are AMAZING and they look adorable in their festive designed bottles. Cherry Bakewell Gin in a star shaped bottle, Sour Cherry Vodka in a Christmas Tree shaped bottle and finally Salted Caramel Cream Liqueur in the cutest little Gingerbread Man shaped bottle.
My particular favourite was the Salted Caramel Cream Liqueur – so festive and yummy. I would be very happy toasting the start of 2020 with this in my glass!
The handcrafted cocktails from Tom Savano would make for a perfect New Year’s Eve drink. The Negroni and Maragarita would both be incredible choices, but I think my favourite would have to be the Lychee Martini.
The Lychee Martini is made with British elderflower vodka and Chinese lychee liqueur and would be perfect poured over ice ready to welcome in the new year and new decade.
