Title: Single All the Way
Author: Elaine Spires
Genre: Contemporary Fiction
My Rating: 5 out of 5
Travel Together Tour Manager Eve Mitchell is planning a quiet Christmas at home to rest and relax before a special New Year. But she soon, very unexpectedly, finds herself in the depths of the Essex countryside looking after a singles’ group which contains some old, familiar faces and some pleasant – and not so pleasant – new ones. With its country walks, quizzes, disco and black-tie ball, the Christmas and Twixmas Break passes quickly, but just as they think it’s all over the plot takes a twist and we learn some dark secrets…
I loved this book – I couldn’t put it down!
I have already read Singles, Set and Match by Elaine Spires and loved it, so I knew I would love Single All The Way as well. The story follows a group of singletons on a Travel Together Christmas event. Starting on Christmas Eve, the story follows the group all the way through the Christmas season. We get to know all of the characters really well and find out the reason why each of them have decided to spend their Christmas with strangers.
Single All The Way is such a fun read, I couldn’t put it down! I wanted to find out what happened to each character and especially with Eve as well. The story has some wonderfully written and funny characters. I am sure most people will be able to identify with at least one character in the story.
Single All The Way is full of love, laughs, fun, reflection and tinsel! I would absolutely recommend Single All The Way to anyone. The perfect festive read, which will leave you with the glowing Christmassy feeling.
