How is it even possible that October has been and gone and we are now in November? Christmas is literally just round the corner and we are only a handful of weeks away from the start of a brand new year and a brand new decade!
October has been a really great month for me – I have been really busy with my job, but also some other exciting side hustle projects. I also have some really exciting things going g on in November, and of course starting to get ready for C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S!

Blogging
One – Publish 2 posts a week
Incredibly, I actually managed to post twice a week all the way through October and I even managed an extra bonus post as well. I have so much exciting content already planned for November that I can’t wait to share with you guys, so I am very much hoping that I can keep up with 2 posts a week throughout this month.
Two – Work on my Social Media platforms
I am so very grateful to every single one of my followers – thank you so much for sticking with me. One of my overall goals is for me to work on and build my Social Media platforms, and spend a lot more time and effort being active and posting on all my social media as often as I possibly can.
Three – Work on my Instagram
This goal follows on from above. As a Blogger, I know that Social Media is very important, and I have always had a love affair with Twitter, but I am starting to realise that Instagram is now the platform that all the influencers are using, and that I need to seriously up my Instagram game. I have been putting a lot more time and effort into my images and captions this month, and hopefully you guys are enjoying my grid content a lot more now.
Four – Figure out Pinterest
In October, I have spent a lot of time working on my other Social Media platforms and my Instagram but still haven’t really properly explored Pinterest. I have spent a bit of time pinning the last few weeks, but I still don’t really know how to use Pinterest to share my Blog posts. I am going to try and work on my Pinterest this month, and would absolutely love it if you guys followed me.
Five – Attend more Blogger events
October has been a great month for Blogger events, and I have some really exciting events coming up in November that I can’t wait to share with you guys.
Personal
One – Exercise regularly
Now my life is a little less chaotic, I can finally spend some time on me, and getting my arse back to the gym again! I am hoping to sit down with my diary, and plan at least a few classes and swimming sessions in – I know this sounds a bit boring, but it really helps me if I have it planned in my diary – I am a planning kind of girl! I am still following the Slimming World plan, and you can read about how I am getting on HERE.
Two – Look after me
Life has really calmed down for me now, and I am looking forward to spending a lot more time on myself, and looking after myself. I realise that self-care, in whatever form that takes, is so very important, and from now on, I will be spending a lot more time on self-care and taking care of me.
Three – Read more
Reading is the one thing I really love. I have been reading a lot in October and this has really helped me to relax and feel calm. I have been taking part in a lot of Book Blog Tours recently, which has given me the perfect opportunity to cuddle up on the sofa and indulge in some me time with a good book.
Four – Write in my journal
I love spending just a few minutes at the end of the day writing in my journal – how my day has been, how I am feeling and what I want to achieve. This for me has been the biggest positive change I have made – spending just a few minutes each day writing in my journal helps me so much to process thoughts and concerns I have. I have written a guest post over on Do 5 Things a Day all about how journaling has helped my emotional health and to help process thoughts, feelings and emotions.
