Ideas for Cosy Autumn Dates

Autumn is well and truly here now – darker nights, colder weather and Pumpkin Spiced everything! Autumn and winter are the perfect times of year to be dating, as there are just so many cute and cosy things to do during the last few months of the year on a date, whether you have just started seeing someone or you have been together a long time.

Autumn Leaves

One – Go an an Autumn Walk

The weather in autumn can still be really lovely – a crisp, cold sunny day makes the perfect weather for a walk in your local park or somewhere pretty where you live. If you manage to pick a fairly warmish day, you could even take a picnic with you, and enjoy the last few rays of the summer sunshine. Cuddle up warm and watch the sun set together with a glass of wine – romance overload!

Two – Cosy Movie Night at Home

Curl up together on the sofa for a movie marathon. You both get to pick a film of your choice. Set the scene with popcorn and other snack – you could even make you own hot chocolate with all the trimmings, light some candles, dim the lights and cuddle up on the sofa under a blanket and enjoy a few hours of movie watching and quality time together.

Three – Enjoy a warming Hot Chocolate together

Autumn is the best time for indulging in a hot chocolate to help you feel more cosy and warm inside. Meet at a coffee shop, grab a coffee or a hot chocolate and spend a few hours getting to know each other a bit better. This is the perfect way to get to know someone for the first time, especially if you have met on any dating sites such as welovedates.com– it can take the pressure off you both and is a much more relaxed environment.

Four – Have Fun at a Firework Display

Autumn is all about the different colours, lights, bonfires and fireworks, so wrap up warm and head to an organised firework display. Enjoy an evening cuddling up together watching the fireworks and then head off for a fun evening of hot dog and candy floss eating and bring out your inner child on all funfair rides.

Five – Become a Master Cocktail Maker

Enjoy a night of cocktail making together – make your favorite drinks, or experiment and challenge each other to guess what ingredients have gone into each cocktail – a night of fun, laughs and getting to know each other even better is definitely guaranteed!

Six – Enjoy a Pamper Night

If the weather is a bit cold and miserable, spend some time at home and enjoy a pamper night together – pop a face mask on and have a bit of fun taking photos of each other, but also enjoy some quality rest and relaxation time together.
