For any of you guys who have followed me for a long time, you will know that I used to follow the Slimming World plan. I did really well, I lost over 5 stone, and was crowned ‘Woman of the Year’, but soon after my life turned upside down and my motivation for taking care of myself just disappeared.
Things in my life are beginning to sort themselves out now, so I thought it was finally time for me to start taking care of myself again – physically and mentally. I took the plunge and with a huge amount of nerves, I rejoined Slimming World.

I am on week 3, and have lost 10 and a half pounds so far. I am so pleased, and already feel a lot better in myself. I am really enjoying food optimising again and planning all my meals is such a key thing – ensuring you know what you are going to eat, so you don’t end up hungry and just grabbing the first thing from the fridge, or dare I say it – chocolate, which I would have done before.

I need to keep up with my motivation and determination to succeed this time, and not let anything (or anyone) get in my way. I also need to get my arse back to the gym again – I have been a few times recently, but I need to plan my sessions and stick to them – no excuses!
