I have always loved the Umberto Giannini hair products, so when I was sent the new Shower in a Bottle Magic Foam Cleanser to review for the Hair Awards 2018, I was really excited to try it out.
The Shower in a Bottle is an innovative new waterless product, which dissolves and removes styling products in an instant, leaving your hair feeling like it has just been washed, with added volume and freshness.
The foam cleanser contains Rice Starch to absorb excess oil from the hair and to freshen the hair, Wheat Protein to add strength and shine and Vitamin E which acts as an antioxidant, and helps to leave hair soft and fresh.
It is very simple to use – you simply use a ping-pong ball size of foam, and scrunch the foam throughout your roots until it has disappeared. The way I have been using it is not as a dry shampoo, but I have been washing and styling my hair as usual, but then I use some of the foam just to add extra volume to my hair – and it works amazingly, plus it smells amazing, so leaves my hair with added volume and feeling soft and super fresh – perfect in this heatwave we are having at the moment.
The Umberto Giannini Shower In A Bottle Foam Cleanser is such a unique and brilliant product, and I am delighted to see that it won the Hair Award for Best Dry Shampoo for 2018.
