I took some time out of my Blog last week – hopefully you guys missed me!? No real reason why, but I just had such a busy week at work and not getting home until late in the evenings, left me very little time to do any writing. I usually write my posts at the weekends, but last weekend, I had a banging headache most of Saturday and Sunday, and just didn’t feel like sitting at my computer writing posts.
I always feel super guilty when I don’t stick to my blogging schedule – I feel like I am letting people down.
This got me thinking about how hard it can be sometime to fit Blogging in when you work full-time, along with all the other things in life that need to be done. I work in Marketing and Social Media for my job, which I LOVE but is very busy, and when I get home in the evening, sometimes that last thing I want to do is turn my laptop on and start writing Blog posts.
I usually try and give myself a few hours on a Saturday and Sunday afternoon to write my Blog posts for the following week, but I still have to live my life, and that sometimes means that I don’t have any free time on weekends to write blog posts. I used to be really organised and have at least 2 posts already written and scheduled ready to go, but because of my job, I just never seem to have enough time to get myself ahead.
I have so many ideas for Blog posts that I want to write and content that I want to share with you guys, but for me, it literally is just not being organised enough to find the time to get all my posts written and scheduled. I just need to try and get myself back in an organised state again and get my arse into gear!
