My Favourite Blog Posts of 2017

So, here we here, almost at the end of 2017, and what a year it has been for me on a personal level, but that’s for another post. I have been Blogging now for about 18 months, and I love it so much – I love having the freedom to write about what I want to and how I want to – I don’t ever expect anyone to read my posts, but you guys out there are so kind, loving and loyal, and keep coming back to support me time after time – THANK YOU.

Today, I thought I would take a look back at some of my Favourite Post from 2017 . . .
1. My PCOS Story

This was a really hard post for me to write. It took me a long tim e to get enough courage to even post this one. I have had PCOS for many years now, and it is a condition that is not talked about nearly enough. Diue to the symptoms of the condition, it makes me feel so unfeminine and not at all like a woman, but I felt it was so important to share my story with other women out there, who may be going through the same as me, and for them to know they are not alone.

I am so glad I took the plunge and pressed Publish on this post.

2. Slimming World Woman of the Year Award

This was such a special moment for me as I never even imagined that I would get nominated for the award, let alone win! It meant such a lot to me, and being able to share it all on my Blog and the really lovely comments I received, made it even more special.

3. Why do we Struggle to Accept Compliments?

This year I have grown a lot on confidence – I have always struggled with my own self-confidence, but through losing weight following the Slimming World Plan, I have gained a lot ore confidence in myself, and this post was all about how I have found it in myself this year to accept a compliment rather than bat it away with an off-hand comment.

4. Aspire Lounge at Birmingham Airport

I loved writing and taking photos for this Blog post – primarily as I was just about to jet off on my much-needed holiday to Lanzarote. I wrote this Blog post from my sun-lounger sitting by the pool – I have not been that relaxed for such a long time, so reading back over this post brings back such happy memories for me.

I have never used an Airport Lounge before this, but for sure, they are the best thing ever, and we will be booking again for next year’s holiday!

5. What I learnt from my Job as a Police Call Handler

My job as a Police Call handler was definitely a real challenge for me, and it was great to be able to share with you all what it can be like working in that role, and for me it was a brilliant way of improving my confidence in myself even more.

So those were my top five blog posts
I’ve written in 2017 and I hope you enjoyed reading them just as much enjoyed
writing them and sharing them with you all.

Thank you to each and every one of
you for all your continued support throughout 2017.

Let me know in the comments
what your favourite blog post of mine has been from this year.
