Review| Stuart Holmes Hair and Beauty Salon, Cheltenham

If you live in Cheltenham, you cant fail to have noticed one of the biggest and best hair and beauty salon’s in the area – Stuart Holmes. Located in Imperial Square, opposite the beautiful Town Hall, Stuart Holmes is a luxurious retreat for a new hair cut, colour or just a bit of much needed pampering.
I was very lucky to be invited along to try out the incredible facilities and treatments at Stuart Holmes as part of their Bloggers Black Friday Event. Booking my appointment was super easy, as I just simply booked online, using the fab online booking option via the Stuart Holmes website.
The salon looks beautiful from the outside, especially at this time of year with the Christmas decorations, lights and giant Glitter Ball, and I particularly love the red carpet to the entrance, makes you feel just that extra bit special!
Walking up the stairs on the red carpet into the salon, I was greeted by the friendly team of reception staff, who made me feel super welcome and were all super friendly. Amy, one of the team at Stuart Holmes popped me into a gown and straight upstairs to the salon area, and with a complimentary Cappuccino bought to me, that’s what I call service!
Natasha, Salon Director who was looking after me and my hair introduced herself and we had a great chat about my hair, what I wanted done and how I usually style my hair. I learnt from Natasha that even though I thin k my hair is coarse and thick, I actually have fine but quite dehydrated hair. Natasha then left me in the capable hands of Amy again to wash my hair.
Having my hair washed is one of my favourite parts of going to a hair salon, but this was unlike anything else I have ever experienced. my feet were popped up on a stool for ultimate relaxation.
My hair was washed and conditioned with the beautiful Shu Uemera range of products, and I may have nearly jumped out of the chair with excitement when Amy offered me a complimentary scalp massage, and it was one of the best I have ever had – thank you Amy!
I am always a little nervous about getting my hair cut, but Natasha was amazing, she explained everything she was doing, and we chatted non-stop. Natasha explained to me that by using products before I dry my hair would give extra protection and to help keep my style looking good all day – she used 2 products on my hair – the Kerastase Styling Mousse Bouffante and the Kerastase Smoothing Taming Milk, before blow drying my hair beautifully straight and smooth.
My hair looked and felt amazing – so smooth and shiny looking – I love it – thank you so much Natasha.
The reception area is very modern, with incredible and modern décor and design, and I really loved the big bowl of sweeties on offer – I may have eaten a few Love Hearts!
Throughout the whole time I was in the salon, I never felt rushed or hurried. Every single member of staff was friendly, polite and super helpful, and a big thank you to Natasha for giving me such a beautiful and fresh new hair cut, which I totally love.
Stuart Holmes have a fully comprehensive WebsiteTwitter and Instagram pages for you to keep up to date on all things Team Holmes, so next time your in Cheltenham, why not pop in and give yourself a treat at the Stuart Holmes Hair and Beauty Salon.
