I am a total book lover, and not only that but I am a total chick lit and romance lover as well, so when I was offered to read the e-copy of the The Sweet Spot novel and review it, I jumped at the chance.

The Sweet Spot is Anneli Lort’s debut novel which reached the Top 10 in the sports fiction chart overnight. She has used her background in public relations for large sports companies to help write this book with professional sport in the background.
When I found out that the novel was set in and around the world of golf , I was quite excited, as my boyfriend plays golf, and I have been a few times with him, so I’m starting to understand the game a bit more.
I really love that the storyline is mainly focused on the growing relationship between Olivia and pro-golfer Sebastian, yet as the story unfolds, we get to meet other characters living in the village of Appleton Vale, and discover more about them and their own lives.
Without giving too much of the storyline away, the relationship between Olivia and Sebastian should have been plain-sailing, however they have both suffered from traumatic events in their lives, which mean that they are both very guarded and protective of their own hearts.
I totally loved this book, it is a really easy read, which is so perfect for me. If you are a romance or chick-lit fan like me, then you should definitely read The Sweet Spot.
