I’m really sorry that this week’s posts have been very heavy on Slimming World, but it really is a huge part of my life at the moment – hope you can forgive me?
For those of you who have been following me for a while, you will know that I have been following the Slimming World Plan.
I was very shocked to have won the title of Woman of the Year at my group recently, have a read of my post all about the Award here
I have now been on plan for 6 and a half months, and at this week’s weigh-in, I achieved a target that I had desperately wanted to get to – I got my 5 stone award!
I am completely over the moon for achieving this milestone. I am going on holiday in 2 weeks time, and I had set myself (in my head) that I wanted to get my 5 stone award before my holiday. I plan on really enjoying my holiday, and not worrying too much about putting some weight back on. I am hoping to be able to lose a few more pounds before holiday, which will give me a bit more flexibility.
I am mentally allowing myself to put on between 5-7 pounds, so as when I come back from holiday I wont be too disappointed if I have put weight on.
As soon as I am back from holiday I intend to sign up for another 12 week countdown, which will take me to the beginning of December. I haven’t really set myself a specific target as yet – but I think I would love to get another 3 stone off by Christmas – is that being totally unrealistic though?
I do still really need to focus more on my exercise, as I have totally let that slip this month. One really positive thing for me with my exercise is that I have signed up for the Aspire Channel Swim which starts on 11th September – just as I get back from my holiday. I cant wait to get started on this – I have done it for the last few years, and it really is such an amazing challenge to complete.
I love how motivated I am feeling at the moment – I hope I can continue to follow the Slimming World plan, keep my exercise levels up, and keep seeing amazing results when I get on the scales every Friday.
