I have seen so many good review of the L’Oréal Hydra Genius Moisturiser, but it was only when I tried out a free sample I had in Cosmopolitan magazine, I realised that this moisturiser could be a potential game-changer for me.
I always thought I had oily/combination skin, but when I had a facial recently, the therapist told me that my skin is quite dehydrated – this is not the same as having dry skin.
The moisturiser claims to be fresh as water and as hydrating as cream, with a water-like texture to penetrate the skin deeply, providing a healthy glow to the skin.
The pale blue glass packaging of this moisturiser is very sleek and elegant, and looks like more of a high-end product, than a drugstore version. The pump action dispenser makes it perfect for applying the correct amount of product without wasting any.
The moisturiser has a really smooth, almost gel-like consistency. It applies to my skin beautifully, with no sticky or tacky feeling left behind. It absorbs straight into my skin, and leaves it feeling so smooth, hydrated, fresh and refreshed.
I have found this to be perfect to use in the morning as a base underneath my make-up, but also at night as a really hydrating and light moisturiser that makes my skin look incredible.
I have been using the Hydra Genius Moisturiser for about 3 weeks now, and I can honestly say that my skin is looking and feeling the best it has for a very long time now.
The L’Oréal Hydra Genius Moisturiser is available from Boots and is currently on special offer, priced at £6.66 for 70ml.
