The 3 things I always have in my Handbag

According to my boyfriend, my handbag resembles a ‘brick’ as I have a large handbag and fill it with all sorts of random things – I must admit my handbag is bloody heavy – I have tried downsizing which hasn’t really worked as I feel that everything I carry with me I need (which is probably not true at all)
However, there are some ‘essential’ things that I always have in my handbag no matter what.
I generally don’t go anywhere without my Ted Baker Purse, my Lily England hairbrush and my diary and notebook . . .
Ted Baker Purse
I bloody love my purse – it is my little baby!  I had lusted over the ted Baker purses for such a long time, but couldn’t justify the cost to myself.
For my birthday this year, my boyfriend surprised with this stunner. I had seen a very similar one in Selfridges at Christmas, and I didn’t even think he had been paying attention when I told him about the ‘very pretty purse I desperately wanted’ but he obviously had been.
I love this one so much as it has so much space in it to keep all the essential cards, money and loose change, and all the other random things I keep in it!
I cant find my exact one, but if you love mine, this one from the Ted Baker Website is really similar.
Lily England Hairbrush
I never used to bother carrying a brush in my handbag, but my sister bought me this fab Lily England Detangling Brush for my birthday, and ever since then, this little beauty has not left my side.
This brush is amazing for detangling and leaving my hair smooth and knot free. I can not praise this brush highly enough, and its a stunning rose gold colour – which in my book makes it even more perfect.
Diary and Notebook

It kind of makes me sound like my life is super busy because I always keep my diary with me – sadly, nothing could be further from the truth! However, I do like to be super organised – especially as I have just started a new job, and by the end of the week, my brain feels like mush! I use my diary to check for the week ahead to see if I have any appointments (dentist etc.) or any birthdays for family and friends.
I keep my notebook with me – I love making To Do list, and I try every evening to make myself a list for the following day of things I need to do – this can be boring everyday things, like ironing and food shopping, and I also use my notebook for Blog post planning and jotting down blog ideas.
So, those are the essential things I keep in my handbag most of the time.
