I am a total make-up lover, but I don’t like to spend too much on my make-up, so when I was very kindly offered the chance by the fab Technic Cosmetics to review(*) some new product launches, I jumped at the chance.
The Technic range of make-up and cosmetics contains fabulous products, but at affordable prices, and with each product that I reviewed coming in under £5.00, I can certainly see why so many people love the range of make-up.
Colour Correcting Setting Powder
As I have quite oily skin, I always tend to use a powder just to set my make-up in place, and this one was fab. I love the fact that it is colour correcting, so really helped to even out the tone of my skin as well as setting my make-up in place perfectly.
Get Gorgeous Bronzing Highlighter
OMG – what can I say – I am totally in LOVE with this highlighter. I feel a million dollars when I have this on (excuse the pun!)
I use this to highlight my cheekbones – it leaves a subtle but definite glow which looks just amazing. I have also used this under my brow bone and along the edge of my jawline to create subtle definition and highlight.
Love, Love, Love this product.
Brown Pen Eyebrow Definer
I am probably the worst person in the whole world for making my eyebrows look half decent (and not like caterpillars!), however this product is like magic. It is so easy to use – I just used the thicker part of the pen to fill in my brows with very light and gently strokes, and amazingly my eyebrows looked fuller, thicker and even – and the best bit – it didn’t smear or rub off throughout the day.
Eyeshadow Primer (Shimmer)
I have a small confession to make here – I have never used a primer on my eyes before – I know shock, horror!
This primer has a subtle shimmer to it, which makes for an ideal base to the perfect day or night eyeshadow look. It blended in really well and I was able to blend my eye colours perfectly, with no creasing and my eyeshadow looked as good at the end of the day, as when I applied it in the morning.
Mega Lash Mascara
Let me just start with saying this mascara is now the one I use every single day. I blooming love this mascara – it literally does what it says on the tin! I apply 2 coats of this fantastic jet black mascara and it makes my lashes super thick, full of volume and it stays put all day long – I’m not left with the panda eye look at the end of the day.
I am really impressed with all of the Technic products I tried, and can’t wait to try other products from the range, and as they are so affordable, a little shopping trip may be on the cards I think!!
