I am not much of a drinker – I wouldn’t say I am tee-total, but I just don’t really enjoy the taste of alcohol, and I think I am becoming old before my time, and I much prefer cuddling up in bed with a Hot Chocolate and a good book!
However, since I went on a Cocktail Making Masterclass at All Bar One, I have fallen back in love with Cocktails. The ones I made at the Masterclass were far more sophisticated than the “classy” Sex On The Beach or Slow Comfortable Screw of my Uni days!
I made 3 different Cocktails – Disaronno Sour, Mango Daiquiri and Honeybee Martini, and OMG, they were all amazing!
Mango Daiquiri
The Mango Daiquiri is one of the yummiest drinks I think I have ever tried – so fresh and fruity, with the slightly sharp taste of the rum. To make the Daiquiri you will need Bacardi Rum, Mango Puree, Fresh lime juice and sugar.
This is just such a gorgeous drink, and very easy to make at home with only a few ingredients needed.
Honeybee Martini
I think the Honeybee Martini has got to be my most favourite Cocktail I have ever tried. The sweetness of the honey running through makes it my perfect drink. To make the Martini, you will need Honey Tequila, Bombay Sapphire Gin, Lemon juice and Planet Bee Chenin Blanc Wine.
This has become a True Love for me in the Cocktail world now – a very sophisticated and adult Cocktail – and I love it!
