I’m sorry this post is so late, and I apologise to anyone reading this if you are thinking “why the heck is she posting about her Beauty Advent Calendar in the middle of January”
My 2017 Blogging game has gotten off to quite a bad start – I ended up in bed for 4 days with a stomach bug and really didn’t feel like Blogging or being on social media. I’m feeling like a normal human being again now, so here I am – back on it . . .
I was a very lucky girl as I had wanted a Beauty Advent Calendar for a few years now, but just couldn’t really justify the cost in December when buying presents for family, friends and loved ones is the priority, but my amazing man bought me the No 7 Beauty Advent Calendar – I was super surprised as I didn’t think he ever paid any attention to me when I go on about all the beauty things I want to buy, but OMG he did well . . .
The total value of products inside the Advent Calendar was £150.00, so I knew there were going to be so fab goodies inside, and I was definitely not disappointed. I have loved the Boots Protect and Perfect serum for a long time now, so I was very excited to see the Advent Calendar contained many of the other Protect and Perfect products, among many others.
Protect and Perfect products
The Beauty Advent Calendar contained 5 of the Protect and Perfect products – the Advanced Day Cream, Advanced Night Cream, Advanced Eye Cream, Intense Hand Cream and Intense Lip cream.
I have used the Protect and Perfect Serum on several occasions previously, so I am very excited to be able to use and try out other products from the range as well.
The Beauty Advent Calendar contained 2 of the Beautiful Skin Body products – the Blissful Body Wash and Completely Quenched Body Milk.
Both of these products are so lovely to use – the Body Wash has a lovely soft scent and the Body Milk left my skin feeling so soft and smooth.
The Beauty Advent Calendar contained 3 of the No7 Limited Edition nail colours in Nude, Metallic Gold and Red.
These are amazing wintery colours with a fab Nude colour which is the perfect neutral colour for anytime of the year.
The No7 Airbrush Away Primer has got to be one of the best primers I have tried so far. It leaves my skin smooth and with enough moisture to ensure my foundation and make-up remain perfect all day long.
The Beauty Advent Calendar contained 3 of the No7 Stay Perfect Eyeshadows in the colours Truffle, Starry Lights and Wheatsheaf.
These colours were beautiful when used together to create a soft smoky eye look, they blend super easily with no creasing.
The Advent Calendar contained 2 fab No7 Mascaras – the Midnight Lash Black Mascara and Lovely Lashes Black Mascara – wow both of these are incredible for giving length and volume, coupled along with the No7 Lift and Curl Eyelash Curlers – what a trio!
The Advent Calendar contained 3 fabulous lip products – the Moisture Drench lipstick in Pillarbox which is a beautiful intense shade of red. The Lovely Lips Lip Balm in Parisian Pink, which provides a hint of a pretty pink colour as well as providing care to dry lips, and the High Shine Lip Crayon in Day Dreamer, which is a lovely soft caramel colour leaving the lips with a great shine.
Inside the Advent Calendar were 3 mini No7 Brushes – an eyeshadow brush, a Contour brush and a Blusher brush, along with a voucher to redeem your perfect shade of blusher using the No7 Match Made service – I haven’t done this yet, but I cant wait to try out my perfect blusher.
I was very lucky to be given the No7 Beauty Advent Calendar, and I am now totally hooked – the products were amazing, and gave me an opportunity to try out many different products form the No7 range.
