I am not a huge fan of making Resolutions for the New Year – I just feel that it puts too much pressure on me to achieve something quite dramatic in my life, and if I don’t then I feel like I have let myself, and others down
Instead for 2017 I am setting myself more achievable and more realistic GOALS. I am hoping by setting these goals, it will be easier for me to achieve, and actually easier for me to stay motivated to want to achieve them.
I am focusing my goals around 2 areas of my life – Blogging and Writing and Personal Goals . . .
Blogging and Writing Goals
Due to personal reasons, I have neglected my Blog over the last few months, but in 2017 I want to get back into a regular routine of Blogging at least twice a week – I would love to do more, I’m just not sure with work commitments and other things I have going on in my life, if I would have the time to commit to posting more at the moment, but hopefully one day!
I really hope everyone who reads my posts enjoys what I write about – I know I can speak a lot of c**p sometimes, but thank you everyone who reads my posts – you are all amazing.
My 2017 Blogging Goals are . . .
1. Maintain a regular routine of blogging and posting twice a week.
2. Continue to grow my followers on Twitter and Instagram.
3. Continue to grow my Blog followers, and those who follow me through Bloglovin.
4. Make more effort to take part in Twitter chats, and to get to know other Bloggers.
5. Grow my Pinterest account.
Personal Goals
2016 has been quite a difficult year for me personally, however I am determined that 2017 will be a better one, and the goals I am making I know will keep me motivated to make 2017 my year (finally!)
My 2017 Personal Goals are . . .
1. Focus on my physical health – Eat better, get more exercise, look after myself more.
2. Focus on my mental health – Recognise when I am starting to struggle and put steps into place to help.
3. Make more time for ME – Learn how to say No sometimes.
4. Make time to see family and friends.
5. Spend quality time with my man.
6. Get to a place in my career that I am happy with.
7. Start reading again.
8. Write in my Gratitude Journal everyday – to remind myself how important life is.
9. Remember that life is short, and make everyday count.
