Pick ‘n’ Melt – My Review

I LOVE Candles and Wax Melts – I think I have candles in pretty much every room of my house (a touch obsessive some may say!) so when the guys at Pick ‘n’ Melt kindly offered me the opportunity to try out some of their Wax Melts, I jumped at the chance.
I was kindly sent the beautiful Christmas Gift Set, which includes a cute square-shaped wax burner, 16 packs of wax melts, and even the tealight to use in the burner.
Each pack of wax melts contains 6 small cubes of wax in different colours, just perfect for melting. The scents in the Gift Set are all based around Christmas, and include . . .
  • Christmas Time
  • Christmas Spice
  • Festive Tree
  • Mistletoe and Wine
  • Cocoa and Log Fire
  • Snow
  • Frankincense and Myrrh

How to Use

Using the gift set was really simple and easy – plus full instructions are included in the kit on how to set it up correctly so the wax cubes melt safely. I put the wax melts in the top of the burner, lit the tealight provided and placed this underneath.
The wax starting melting after a short time and gave off a really lovely scent which filled the room with lovely wintery and festive smells.  I think it took about an hour for the wax to melt completely, leaving a beautiful multicoloured puddle of molten wax in the top of the burner, which left a delicious smell in the room long after I had blown the candle out.
The burner is super easy to clean as well – just warm the wax slightly and pour away any remaining wax.
This gift set would make a lovely Christmas present for anyone who loves scented candles. The standard gift set is priced at £12.00 and comprises of 16 bags of wax cubes to melt, along with the lovely burner – a complete gift in one.
