Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

Cleanse and Polish by Liz Earle is the
original hot cloth cleanser.  There are
several other versions available on the market now, but Liz Earle was the first
to introduce the concept.

The hot cloth cleanser has a 2 phase action –
step one is cleansing, to remove all traces of make-up, even heavy eye make-up,
and step two is polishing, using the muslin cloths provided to gently dislodge
dead skin cells, and promote new soft and radiant skin.

The cleanser comes in a pump action bottle,
so the product is very easy to dispense, accompanied by 2 muslin cloths for
removal of the product.

I used the cleanser both morning and night,
applying 1-2 pumps to dry skin, and massaging all over my face and neck for about
a minute, to ensure the product was worked well into the skin.  The first thing I noticed was how easily the
cleanser glides over the skin, into all crevices around the nose, even across
the delicate eye area.

The second thing I noticed is the quite pungent
fragrance of the product, which contains eucalyptus oil – the first few times I
used the cleanser, it reminded me of a diluted version of Olbas oil, but after
using it for a while now, I have become quite used to the fragrance, and quite
enjoy inhaling the fresh smell, taking a deep breath in, and clearing out my
lungs.

To remove the cleanser, I used the muslin
cloth soaked in hot water and wrung out, to gently remove all the cleanser from
my face, taking with it all traces of face and eye make-up, even mascara!  In the mornings, to help wake myself up, I
use the muslin cloth soaked in cold water to remove the cleanser, which gives
me an instant boost to start the day.

My skin feels so amazingly smooth, and looks
so radiant, that in the warmer summer days we have had recently, I went to work
without foundation, and just used a light tinted moisturiser, as I didn’t want
to cover up my soft and radiant Liz Earle Cleanse and Polished skin.

Cleanse and Polish is avaialble in a starter kit, containing 100ml of the cleanser and 2 muslin cloths, priced £14.25 from www.uklizearle.com
